Focus (1993)

One of the premier progressive death metal bands' first album, and an impressive work as well. (This is the remaster from 2004.)
To love without fear and learn without question.
Doppelgdnger (2005)

A mathcore mangum opus from one of the genre's (former) leading acts.
Rewind and rewind and rewind...

Chronicle, Vol. 1 (1976)
The twenty most popular songs that CCR ever put out. I'd imagine that most of you have seen this album cover at one point. I never really realized that this compilation was called Chronicle, or that there was ever a volume 2 released (10 years later, I might add). Oh well, this is certainly a very good example of a greatest hits done right.October 28, 2011

The Crossing (1983)
Famous for only one song, but a pretty great album overall. Surprisingly enough, the Scottish influence the band has works very well with the new wave sound of the album.

U2 18 Singles (2006)
A compilation of 16 of U2's top singles, "The Saints Are Coming" (a cover version in collaboration with Green Day of a song by The Skids) and "Window in the Skies" (a new song).
I see the dust cloud disappear without a trace.

Brothers (2010)
Certainly worthy of a Grammy, I'd say. Considering the band is a duo, I'd have to say that's just a little more than impressive. Alternative music at its finest.
Labels:

alternative,
brothers,
the black keys
One (2011)

A lighter djent that still has all the hallmarks of the genre. Tesseracts have cubes for shadows.
And all that's left is memory.

London Calling (1979)

Perhaps the best punk album of all time, and certainly one of the most well received.
I live by the river.
