Crime Slunk Scene (2006)


His 18th studio album, originally only released during a tour in 2006, was later re-released in 2007. This album has his probably best-known song, Soothsayer.

The Shape of Jazz to Come (1959)

Awesome avant-garde jazz, very influential in that it is arguably the very early starting point of free jazz, since it featured no chord structure and multiple players improvising simultaneously.
